Darren wins the King of the Quarter Mile at Limaland

The sprint King of the Quarter Mile event was the Darren Long show. Long led the first nine laps with Rob Chaney bouncing off the walls in his efforts to catch Long. Chaney attempted a banzai slide-job in the final turn. As he came up the track, Chaney’s rear bumper and Long’s front bumper made contact sending Chaney into the wall and flipping down the front straight away. In the end, Long was $3, 000 richer in the Sprint King of the Quarter Mile.
