Summary from Limaland.com
Last up were the Elwer Fence Sprints. Mike Miller has yet to win a feature at Limaland Motorsports Park. Friday night, he had his best chance this year at claiming victory. Starting on the pole, Miller lead the first seven laps with ease. Cory Seeling brought out the yellow on lap seven for a lazy spin in turn two. The restart order was Miller, Darren Long, Rick Boughan, Jim Stinson and JR Stewart. Miller quickly pulled away riding the rim. Long’s car appeared to go away as the race reached the mid way point. Boughan, who had been patiently working the bottom groove, began to reel in Miller by lap fifteen. As the two worked traffic, Boughan found an opening and passed Miller for the lead on lap seventeen. From then on, it was the Rick Boughan show at Limaland Motorsports Park. Boughan notched his second victory at Limaland and his first of 2008. Being the gentleman that he is, Boughan had this to say, “I want to thank my wife and children and everyone else who supports me as I live this fantasy, this dream of mine, of being a racecar driver.”
